It depends upon the way you search. Better searches will always produces Better results. Here are some nifty modifiers to type in your Google search box to refine your searches and get the best results.

Initially we can refine some basic features of Google, which the beginners may find it useful. Google can be used to perform various tasks as follows:

OR (Multiple Words) searches for web pages that include either of the two words. Type Paris or Ohio will display the results with the word “Paris” or “Ohio”.

… (Numeric Ranges) searches for a range of numbers. Type Mahatma Gandhi 1910…1930, will show results about Mahatma Gandhi during this time period.

Site: Searches only particular websites. Type storm site: edu, references to storm on .edu websites.

Link: searches for WebPages that links to a particular website .Type link: ohio.edu , will display websites that link to the University of Ohio.

Similarly conversion can too made as cm to foot and $ to pound etc.

If you type sachinn , it will display the result associated with what you have given , but at the same time,you can see Did you mean : sachin ( at the top ),clicking on it will display the exact results than the previous one,which is handy indeed.

Typing Obama (any personality name) will take you to a web page displaying info about him, and it will also show related search as “Michelle-Barack obama, Obama images etc “, which synchronize the search easily.

Google also supports a search operator called AROUND (n) that will help you result where the distance between two search terms is around ‘n.’
