2 Ways To Create Your Own Google Chrome Themes

Same applies here to Google Chrome themes as well, though there are lots of themes available from Google it is always proud to design our own and use it. You must be one among those who loves to change their themes quite often, now after trying this guess there will be less chance.

There are two ways to do this,

1. You can create your own chrome themes via online.
2. You can create your product by using the Chrome crx theme creator which does needs any installation.

Online Chrome Themes Creator:

Online creator has a simple and a user friendly interface when compared with the other one. Go to the link given below and enter the theme name of your choice along with a small description.

You can see number of tabs in the interface which will help you in the completion of the theme, remember one thing only.PNG file formats images works when you upload so do keep the images ready in the .PNG format.

Navigate all the Tabs by filling out the Images, Colors and Tints. You can easily do that as numberings will be on either side to make sure the creation is easy.

Navigate to the Pack tab and if you are using the chrome browser now then click “Pack and Install the theme” button if not click “pack and download theme” button.

Chrome crx Theme creator:

You must download the crx theme creator before starting to create a theme and at the same time keep your .PNG images ready.

Download the Theme and run it, of course no need for any installation on your system.

You can name the theme in the text box present in the left top corner
Upload your images that are being kept ready.

You can also change the colors and Tint as you did in the online creator.

Click the view theme button once you are done with the creation of your personalized theme.

If you are satisfied with the theme then click the pack theme button which will give you a .crx extension file which is nothing but your theme.
