Quick Tip to Speed up your PC

This is a very simple tip but it can definitely speed up your system. It takes only 2 minutes for you to implement and no matter what Windows Version you use, it can be Windows 7 or XP or Vista. Follow the simple steps,

Go to My Computer and right click the C: drive and click Properties. You could see a check box which has a question about Indexing of the files. Remove the Green tick present on the Check box and click OK. If a pop-up appears then leave the default option and click OK. That is it, you are done. Restart the computer and see the difference.

How it can speed up?

This option enables the fast searching of files but it is useful only when you do 1000’s of searches a day. I am sure none of us will do that. So it is better to uncheck and use the system fast at least.

Will it affect my normal Search?

No, it will not. Your search results will be slow but the difference will be less than seconds.
