Shall we start?
- The first thing you do is go to Start, and then Run.
- Access the Group Policy Editor. This can be done by typing “gpedit.msc” in the Run box.
- This opens the “Group Policy Editor”.
- Click on “Local Computer Policy” and on the right side panel double-click “Computer Configuration”.
- Then double-click “Administrative Templates” then double-click “Network” then double-click on “QOS Packet Scheduler”.
- Still on the right side panel look for “Limit reservable bandwidth” and double-click it.
- Now in “Setting” Tab it says: “Not Configured”
- But Windows by default will reserve 20%. You can do this by clicking enabled and then setting the Bandwidth Limit % to 0.
- On Setting Tab select “Enabled”. See image below.
- Now, change “Bandwidth limit (%)” to 0 (Zero). This reserved Bandwidth is only to accelerate Microsoft internet connections more than other connections.
- Click OK button then close the Group Policy Editor. That’s it! You’re done
